MiniPlaza 2025: ons eindejaarsfeestje en een mooie traditie.
Het werd weer een leuke, levendige en drukke proefavond. We hadden 7 kratten en een paar dozen vol flessen met tenminste een halve inhoud meegenomen. 80 flessen stonden er op de lijst en uiteindelijk bleken het zelfs 81.
Het afgelopen jaar was ons jubileum en ter ere daarvan hebben we onze eigen botteling uitgezocht. Deze hadden we al eens een keer laten proeven tijdens onze Boomgaardproeverij in september. Maar er waren mensen die deze 18-jarige Benriach nog niet hadden geproefd, dus nú was de kans om dat wel even te doen. Aan het begin van de avond maakten we nog de grap, dat er vast mensen zouden zijn, die alle 81 zouden willen proeven. We hebben het afgeraden, maar er was iemand... Nee, we noemen geen namen, maar een deelnemer kwam iets over de helft van de avond naar ons toe om te vertellen dat hij aardig op schema lag. Uiteindelijk kwam hij niet verder dan 30, maar we hopen wel dat hij veel water heeft gedronken én dat hij heelhuids naar huis is gestrompeld. En ja, we schonken op verzoek hele kleine glaasjes!
Uiteindelijk werd er weer een diep gat in ons MiniPlaza-bestand geslagen, de meeste pareltjes werden er bovendien uitgepikt om thuis nog eens nageproefd te worden. De rest, zo'n twee en een kwart krat, ging weer mee naar huis. De basis voor de komende MiniPlaza in 2026? Ook dat zal in ieder geval weer een mooi feestje worden.
